Managing Kids' Digital Lives

Every family has to figure out how to help their kids manage their digital lives. Whether it’s apps when they’re little or social media when they’re older, so much has to be considered when setting rules and boundaries for their screentime!

I know a lot about what to do with teens and social media, but when it comes to little ones and games, apps, and everything else… I’m totally clueless. Luckily, though, other people who are smarter than I am when it comes to the development of young minds have thought this through.

Hailey and I made a video talking about our goals for 2019 and her digital life! We use the Fire HD 8 Kids Edition to monitor her reading, educational apps, and fun time (using Amazon FreeTime’s Parent Dashboard).

We are actually in the middle of a trip right now and I’m honestly not sure how we would have made it through all those flights without a little help from those tablets. Hailey and I will tell you all about it here!
